Before the First class

This is a board design from my Foundation year, I choose a famous Italian designer and architect, Alessandro Mendini as my research object to design this board. This board represents Alessandro's philosophy and his main approach of design. As the image shown that he prefer to use bright colors and non-traditional shapes. According to this project, I gained some experience of how to thinking as a designer.

This is Harbin Opera House which completed by Beijing Studio "MAD". This building featuring an undulating form that wraps two concert halls and a huge public plaza, the building is designed in response to the force and spirit of the northern city's untamed wilderness and frigid climate. The image shows the building's view in snowy.

This is a white coat dress with a massive, jaw-dropping tulle face by Maison Margiela. I was shocked by this cloth first time when I saw it. The designer Galliano uses a face motif which looked like Picasso style. This clothing design represents the beauty of the fabric.

1.Architectural Concepts Adolf Loos Ornament results in the undue obsolescence of everyday objects. The ornament is a sign of degeneracy. Loos alludes to the timeless qualities of architecture devoid of ornamentation. Focus on uses of space. Loos equates ornaments with “savagery”.
